Hotel Resol Hakodate

The location was very good right near a tram stop and the main station. The staff were friendly and were more respectful/ informed about how to treat foreign residents than at many hotels (the fact that ID doesn’t need to be checked or copied by law), so I appreciated this a lot. There was a bar and guests receive a free drink token. I could see the sea from my room window. The room was basic but that was fine for the price, and it was also very clean.

The hotel lounge which provides free coffee, tea and juice, soft drinks are a plus. Also it’s great for having a space working on computer. The room is a bit tight but no complaints as it’s worth paid. Location is also perfect very close to train station, walking distance to 金森紅磚庫。 Every morning we found the free drinking water bottles and towels at the door quite surprising.

It was really close to JR Hakodate station and within walking distance to some places of interest. There is a washing machine and dryer on site which was very convenient. There was also some sports facilities and it looked fun even though I didn’t use them. Guests could also use the lounge to relax and get some free hot drinks. Breakfast was very very good, a wide variety of food available and a nice view from the 10th floor. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was dated but clean and comfortable.

We felt very welcomed the moment we walked in, the receptionists were both very kind and accommodating. We love our room very much. The room is nice and clean. Thoughtful amenities. The room has enough space of our luggage, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from our window and really nice shampoo and soap. Breakfast is spectacular. Great quality Hokkaido ingredients, delicious BBQ seafood, many choices of healthy and tasty smoothies and more. We were very impressed. The breakfast room managers, chefs and staff are all wonderful as well. In fact, every employee of Hotel Resol Hakodate has done the hotel proud. They are great representatives of the hotel. We would definitely choose this hotel when we visit Hakodate again the the future.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walking from JR Hakodate station. And the tram stop is just a few steps. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. I like the BBQ scallop and the fresh milk.
